Outback Pools is a family owned and operated business based locally out of central Florida. Our crews are family oriented and love building swimming pools together. Our service area is our home county which is Marion County.
How long will it take to build a concrete pool?
Building a swimming pool typically takes 8-10 weeks from start to finish.
What services does Outback Pools offer?
We specialize in building concrete pools, remodeling which includes pool deck resurfacing, updating waterline tile, and replastering/remarciting pool surfaces.
Do you offer financing?
Outback Pools does not offer financing directly, but we do use a few vendors to obtain financing to help our customers be able to build their dream pool.
How can I baby proof my pool?
You can install a screen enclosure with baby alarms on the doors and windows that have access to the swimming area. Make sure all screen doors and fence gate latches are installed 54” off of the ground, so children can’t reach them. Also, you can baby proof the area by using 4’ baby fence as a barrier to keep your babies or children safe.
How often do I need to clean my pool?
Pools need to be cleaned and water tested weekly. Filters need to be rinsed. Pump and skimmer baskets need to be cleaned and don’t forget to brush and vacuum your pool. This can keep your pool from building algae (scum line), growing calcium deposits, and keeps the marcite or plaster from staining.
Salt systems vs inline chlorinator
Inline chlorinators are basic and easy to use. Salt systems can be harder to operate for maintaining your pool. Salt does feel good on your skin. An inline chlorinator or salt system both produce chlorine and are about the same in maintenance costs. Remember, if you smell chlorine, you’re over chlorinating your pool. Call to find out more.
Can I use my pool year round?
You can if your pool is heated or live in an area that is warm all year long. We even offer a heater chiller combo.
Does Outback Pools offer any warranties?
Yes we do. We offer a 3 year labor and maintenance warranty for all our Jandy pool equipment products, a 10 year manufacturer warranty on our plaster/marcite, and a 1 year warranty on everything else protecting you from poor workmanship (This excludes cracking in concrete decking).
